Season Kick-off

***UPDATE*** We just received a e-mail from the AFBN. The field hasn't been aproved and the game for this Sunday is cancelled!!!! Again, the game is cancelled!! We might have an extra practice-session (mandatory, verplicht, Pflicht) but we will post on that on a later moment. ***UPDATE***

The Broncos will play their first game of the 2012 season this Sunday (19-02-2012). The Nijmegen Pirates will host the game, and the Broncos are the ones to face them in this seasons' kick-off! The game will start at 14:00, at Sportpark Vossendijk, Winkelsteegseweg 208, 6534 AR Nijmegen. The juniors will play in cooperation with the Pirates against the Rotterdam Trojans, the kick-off is at 11:00. If you want to support the Broncos you are welcome to come with us to Nijmegen, please contact us for more information. For the players: We get together at 08:30 in the morning at Vogido, bring both of your jerseys (if you have any). LET'S PLAY SOME FOOTBALL!!

Practice time changes and the 2012 game schedule

Starting from now, the times we practice will change. Instead of practicing from 19:00 to 21:00, we practice from 19:30 to 21:30! Everybody should be able to come on time now, this means that at 19:30 you are suited up and ready to roll! Let's start of this year good and get ready for our first game!

This year the Broncos will play in the second division, we will play more games against tougher opponents. The full schedule can be found here.

Practice day changes

After a well attended and good organized general members meating, the broncos decided for new plans that will be launched in 2012. For the winter we agreed on practicing indoors and outdoors as long as we can. We will practice on MONDAY outdoors, and on WEDNESDAY indoors! Make sure you'll be attending because next season is right around the corner. If you haven't been at the general meeting, the minutes have been spread around by email. For compliments, questions or suggestions please contact somebody from the board at practice! Hope to see you all on monday!

The website has had a major update, the visuals have changed a lot as well as the programming code. This makes it more easier to update the website with news feeds, pictures, etc. Keep an eye on the website, to stay in touch with the Broncos. Combine

On tuesdaynight the 31st of May 2011 at 19:00 the Enschede Broncos will have a combine. On this evening there will be several exercises (future) players have to perform, the results will be recorded. Eventually the coaches will set up a team and everybody gets a position assigned. You will practice on this position for the next months, so we will be ready for this season. So if you want to play, you have to come. Also people who don't have experience with American Football are welcome, this is a good opportunity to test your skills!

Er is weer een update van de website geweest. De newspaper pagina is onder andere gevuld met een aantal nieuwsberichten uit het verleden, kijk er vooral even in als je wat wilt weten over de historie van de Broncos. Er zijn twee buttons toegevoegd in de "sidebar" met links naar de facebook en hyves pagina van de broncos. Ook is het roster weer up-to-date gemaakt. Verder komt er binnenkort een foto gallerij en wordt er gewerkt aan de overige onderdelen van de website.

Vorige week zaterdag (16 april) is er een flyer actie geweest in de binnenstad, we hebben even ons gezicht laten zien en hopen dit vaker te doen in de toekomst. Wil je een keer flyeren in de stad neem dan even contact op met bestuur@enschede-broncos.nl of laat het even weten op training zodat er wat geregeld kan worden. Als laatst wenst het bestuur van de Enschede Broncos iedereen een vrolijk pasen!

Binnentraining

Vanwege het mooie weer, gaan we eerder stoppen met de zaaltraining op maandag. Volgende week (28 februari) zal de laatste binnentraining zijn, dus in maart geen binnentraining meer. Kom vooral nog langs op deze laatste training. We gaan nu gewoon weer buiten door op dinsdag, van zeven tot negen. Zorg dat je erbij bent!

Buitentraining

Het is weer tijd om onze favoriete sport op volle toeren te beoefenen. Voor diegene die het nog niet wisten, vanaf dinsdag 1 februari 2011 gaat er weer buiten getraind worden. Zorg dat je optijd aanwezig bent en neem al je equipment weer mee. We zijn nog steeds opzoek naar nieuwe spelers, dus neem je vrienden, collega's, familie, etc. mee zodat we straks helemaal klaar zijn voor de competitie! Tevens trainen we deze maand ook nog op maandag in de zaal, vanaf maart doen we dit niet meer.

Competitie 2011

De Broncos hebben zich aangemeld voor de competitie van 2011! Het gaat hierbij om de nieuw opgestarte derde divisie van de AFBN voor seniors. Deze divisie is in het leven geroepen om beginnende teams als ons ook een kans te geven om wedstrijden te spelen. Ook zullen er "tweede" teams van grote clubs in deze divisie gaan spelen. We zullen natuurlijk hard trainen om straks helemaal klaar te zijn om alle wedstrijden te winnen. Dus kom elke training en neem meer mensen mee zodat we nog meer spelers krijgen.
